The park is insane today. Gate locked when I got here. Went to het parking refund; took 3 CMs. Apparently one of first days other annual passes not blocked… Disney’s problem — they want AP, but can’t handle them when they descend… I see a lot of buttoned shirts around… Also,…

Also - forgive me for typing a brief spiel on my phone that sounded snotty. I realize now how it sounded, but I didn’t mean it as such. And, no, I’m not backtracking as a form of “CYA” — admittedly, I was more dramatic than I needed to be, as I was caught by surprise by everything today. I knew it would be busy — just not THAT busy.
Now for *MY* TWO CENTS.
1) *I’M* tired of people thinking that just because I have a pass that I automatically feel I’m “superior” to anyone - entitled to more than an average ticket holder. I don’t. Of course I want to get my money’s worth, but I wait in line like everyone else, I pay for my products just like anyone else, I don’t hassle anyone… I don’t expect preferential treatment.
(Sidenote: Sure, I complained about parking today — but I was appreciative of Disney’s offer to reimburse me for the cost (ultimately more than they needed to, as it turned out) - as I was going to pay for it even if they didn’t. I get to park for free every other time, so what’s one time? And yeah, it took 3 CM’s to do it, but I was certainly not bitchy about it. They apologized for it (even though it CERTAINLY was not their fault parking filled), I made sure to tell them it was OKAY, and that they didn’t have to apologize.)
Back when I was into collecting pins, I met those VERY VOCAL passholders who DID expect such treatment, however - and I quickly stopped that, just so I could avoid those people. I am not THAT passholder, and I don’t appreciate you lumping me in with those passholder just because I happen to have had a bad experience and shared it here.
2) Let me assure you, while I generally didn’t have a good time at the park today, I NEVER EVER take it out on CMs. I have known/currently know a number of CMS, and am FULLY aware of the crap they take on a daily basis. I am NEVER rude or short with them. I was pleasant today, despite everything I experienced, and even conversed with two of them about about how slammed they must be. I don’t forget this or lose sight of this.

God bless the snooty APs and their constant criticism. They say they love the parks,
